IT Manager & Web Developer
In the summer of 2018 I was referred by a friend to the CEO of easyCut! who was looking for an IT Manager for a small office.
They had a network of 7 PC’s a firewall and two Windows 2003 servers that needed management.
I evaluated the setup and agreed to take over the IT Manager task provided that we were going to allocate a specific budget for both software and hardware upgrades.
As the owners agreed I started to work on improving the network that they had been running and provided technical support for both the owners and their staff.
Towards the end of 2018 the CEO of easyCut! asked if there was any way that I could help build a new website provided that his website, at that time, was obsolete and needed a face-lift at least.
I confirmed and together with his graphics designer we drafted the layout of the website in Photoshop, then I used the Photoshop template that he provided to develop a WordPress theme with the exact same look and feel.
Once this was ready I started to work on the functionality and implemented a custom-built eCommerce platform using WooCommerce and a lot of code tweaks.
By December 2018 the site was deployed live and to date, I am still managing and improving it.‘
