I am an IT specialist with over 20 years of experience with system administration and IT security and over 10 years of experience with website maintenance. Besides my technical experience I also have leadership experience and can provide coordination and guidance for small technical teams.

I am fluent in HTML, CSS, PHP, Bash, Wordpress, macOS, English, Romanian and Spanish. I am also a quick learner, I pay attention to detail and I am passionate about all aspects of IT.

I currently live in Mallorca, Spain, but I am open to remote work and travelling.

SKILLS - What can I do?

• System Administration - I have a broad experience with *nix environments, specifically CentOS, Debian and FreeBSD and I can manage servers and environments running pretty much any *nix operating system. I also have some experience with Windows Server environments and have been managing Windows servers for some of my customers;
• Managed Hosting - I have 9 years of experience in the web hosting industry and have managed the hosting accounts for over 10000 customers;
• IT Management - I have been managing the IT departments for several local companies and acquired experience in this field. I can establish and implement processes and protocols and can supervise the entire IT infrastructure;
• Web Design/Development - I have a wide experience with Wordpress and HTML/CSS in general and I have been developing websites for the past 10 years;

EDUCATION

Most of my knowledge, skills and experience come from self-taught practice, however, I hold a Baccalaureate Degree from the Gheorghe Lazăr National College of Sibiu where I also obtained a License of English Language Teacher.

At Gheorghe Lazăr National College I became an expert in English speaking and writing after taking the FCE and CAE Cambridge courses and I also learned basic computer software and hardware, basic HTML, PHP, C++ and Pascal programming.
